The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is proud and honored to have four of its Alpha students win at The Israel Young Scientists and Developers competition, initiated and led by the Bloomfield Science Museum. Eight Hebrew University Alpha students submitted their work to the competition (out of 47 nation-wide).

The Israel Prize, the State of Israel's most prestigious honor, is awarded annually on Independence Day as the highest recognition of Israeli individuals who have displayed excellence in their fields as well as those who have made an outstanding contribution to the State of Israel and the culture of the nation.
This year, the Israel Prize will be awarded to four faculty members, and an Honorary Doctorate recipient.
Hebrew University's Israel Institute for Advanced Studies (IIAS) welcomes its newest director, Professor Yitzhak Hen.
Beginning June 2018, Hen will head the IIAS, a national institution devoted to academic research located at the Edmond J. Safra campus at Givat Ram.
