The French Friends of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem held their annual Scopus Prize awards, which this year was awarded to French chef, Thierry Marx. The film was created during Marx’s visit to the Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment in Rehovot in advance of the event.

Albert Einstein Heads to Taiwan


 For the first time in history, the Albert Einstein Archives at The Hebrew University in Jerusalem (HU) will be on display in Asia.  The exhibit, Albert Einstein: Life in Four Dimensions, curated by Avi Muller, will open January 12 at the National Chiang Kei-Shek Memorial Hall in Taipei, Taiwan.  Scores of original Einstein memorabilia will be on display, including his 1921 Nobel Prize, handwritten pages from the Theory of  Relativity, letters exc

Mehubarim – Getting Connected on Hebrew University Campuses


Mehubarim (connected) is a collaboration between the Hebrew University's Student Union and Rothberg International School. The program started as a language exchange program where Hebrew speaking students were paired with foreign language speaking students in order to help one another improve their second language skills.

Past and Present Collide


A clay seal from the First Temple Period, inscribed in ancient Hebrew script, was unearthed in the Israel Antiquities Authority excavations at the Western Wall Plaza in Jerusalem.   According to the excavator, Dr. Shlomit Weksler-Bdolah, "the Bible mentions two governors of Jerusalem, and this finding reveals that such a position was actually held by someone in the city some 2700 years ago."
