Fabian Bulugu

Fabian Bulugu came to do his master’s degree with Glocal so that he could learn about Israeli agriculture and economic development. While studying in Jerusalem, he volunteered at Kaima, an organization that uses organic farming to give Israeli high-school dropouts an income and a fresh start.

After graduating Fabian returned to his native Tanzania where he established Kaima’s first sister farm abroad. With dreams of expansion, Fabian explains, “after the youth learn the basics on our farm, we want to set them up with microfinancing and guidance so they can establish their own farms and other young adults can learn from them."
