Driven by its mission to develop science and knowledge for the benefit of humankind, the Hebrew University embraces initiatives that aspire to a better world by:
-
Training future researchers, professionals, and leaders to pursue in-depth scholarship, ask big questions, and develop new approaches to solving local and world challenges.
-
Creating knowledge with far-reaching potential and sharing it with students and colleagues from around the world.
-
Equalizing access to higher education for students from underrepresented communities.
-
Shaping a vibrant academic community that exemplifies tolerance and pluralism.
These efforts cut across faculties, campuses, staff and students — from the Center for the Study of Multiculturalism and Diversity to our legal clinics which work with underrepresented populations; from scholarships, preparatory programs and supplementary courses for students from diverse ethnic, socio-economic, and religious groups to our international programs which train Israeli and international students in how to strengthen communities around the globe.
