Prof. Marta Weinstock-Rosin of the Hebrew University's School of Pharmacy - Institute for Drug Research developed Exelon, a breakthrough drug that treats the symptoms of mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease. Exelon slows the progression of the disease in many patients and often improves their cognitive function as well. The drug is manufactured by Novartis in Switzerland.
