Exchange of Culture, Exchange of Mind
The Hebrew University has study abroad and student exchange agreements with more than 120 universities worldwide including PhD exchanges with Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Oxford, University of Toronto, Cambridge and more. In addition to longer periods of study abroad, there are opportunities for incoming and outbound students to experience summer schools, summer internships and lab exchanges.
Hebrew University Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Oron Shagrir explains that “these international interactions benefit not only the individual students, but the entire University community is enriched as a result”. A recent impact study for the Erasmus+ European Union mobility program found that 64% of employers believe that an international experience is important for recruitment (as compared to 37% in 2006) and so this activity is truly vital to our students’ success in the global economy.
