Porsche, the luxury car company, has decided to invest $2 million in the Israeli startup TriEye.
TriEye is a company that uses SWIR (short-wave-infrared) technology to allow autonomous vehicles to operate effectively even under challenging weather conditions.
The technology was developed in the Hebrew University’s Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
The group was founded by Professor Uriel Levy, and Hebrew University alumni Omer Kapach and Avi Bakal.
Professor Levy is head of the nanophotonic and optofluidic in the University’s Applied Physics Department.
