The South African Friends of the Hebrew University promote the incredible research and innovation coming out of the Hebrew University. Apart from fundraising for the University, we promote the HU to students who are looking for opportunities to study overseas. The South African Friends provides assistance and guidance to students irrespective of where they are in their studies. Through school visits, career evenings and private meetings with SA students, we give our students the opportunity to study abroad. Grade 11 students from Cape Town and Johannesburg visit the Hebrew University campus during their Encounter programme. They meet fellow South Africans studying at the Hebrew University.
